Finger Limes

From Shanley Farms

FingerLimes-sm

There is so much interest in Finger Limes that Shanley Farms is sponsoring a free giveaway for KosherEye readers. Three random winners will each receive a box of finger limes. What a fun new fruit for Yom Tov!

What is a finger lime? The cutest, smallest lime we have ever seen! The interior pulp is often referred to as citrus pearls or citrus caviar. When cut in half and squeezed, the finger lime releases individually contained juice "pearls" that pop with a tart lemon- lime-grapefruit flavor.

Citriburst Finger limes are a micro-citrus originally discovered growing wild in Australia. The citrus pearls can be squeezed out of the finger lime and used in any place that you would use a lemon or lime. Shanley Farms offers this, its newest product from approximately late August to mid-January.

They can be ordered direct from Shanley Farms, or are available in select markets around the U.S.

This Random Giveaway ended midnight, August 20th. The lucky winners are Sarena Kopciel, Monsey New York; Brittany Wrenn, Cornelius, NC; and Bracha Komarov, Brooklyn, NY.

Giveaway limited to continental U.S. only. If not living in continental U.S, you can still enter and, if selected, "gift" your prize to a continental U.S. friend or relative. Once notified, the winner must respond within 48 hours or the prize will be awarded to the runner-up.
